During one of his trips to Valencia, the critic Aguilera Cerní, leader of “The Living Art” magazine, got Sempere in touch with the group Parpalló, which clustered together artists such as: Michavila, Andres Alfaro, Manolo Gil, Amadeo Gabino, Isidoro Balaguer, and many more artists all of them interested in renewing the artistic landscape in the Valencia of those years:
